preliminary task

This is my front cover for my college magazine as part of my preliminary task. I first used "photoshop" to cut around the person I took a picture of. I then imported it into "in design" so that I could add text and a background to make my magazine cover.
what I found was most troublesome was the cutting round of the subject, not that  it was hard, because it was time consuming an took a long time to get right.
Overall I am pleased with the outcome of my magazine cover, I think it looks professional and well presented an it would look well sat on a shelf and it would sell.
The only negative I have is that I did not add a barcode. I think this would have finished it off and it would look better.
